A festival of exhilarating and inspirational live art featuring world premieres of several specially commissioned works, ground-breaking small audience, stage and durational performances, a unique audio coach tour of Tyneside, as well as keynote presentations by leading writers and critics.

Taking place across three different venues: BALTIC, ms Stubnitz and specially organised coach tours, navigate presents an international line-up of pioneering artists whose diverse practices address 'navigation' as a core theme - navigation of the body as site, the mapping of real and virtual geographies, the navigation of data within digital media and the navigation of time across physical and emotional space.
